22 years ago, I set up the Boda company. To name it, I specially employed the Chinese character “Bo” for its meaning of struggle, though it was seldom used for the name of a company. I prefer struggle. I hope that my colleagues, as well as I, with the spirit of struggle, create the value for our enterprise and the premium life for our families, take responsibility and make dedication for the society.

For over two decades of struggle, Boda has grown up from an about-ten-people company to a giant multi-national enterprise group with assets of over seven billion US dollars and employees of more than ten thousand people. As a participant and beneficiary of the Chinese reform-opening up cause, following the “going-out” strategy of China, Boda extends its Latin-American markets based on the Mexican market in recent years. Boda devotes itself to the local social-economic development and the friendship between the Chinese people and the Mexican people, winning the high affirmation from the governments and the people of the two countries.

This year, the 76-floor China Grand Hotel, the first project of Boda in Mexico City, starts construction officially, which is a milestone in Boda history as well as a historical event of the Sino-Mexican economic cooperation. At such a new starting point, what we are faced with is a long journey of our second startup, rather than to live on our own fat. Adhering to our corporate spirit of “Struggling Hard Today Strategically and Making Sure the Achievement of Our Missions”, we will continue to go forward to realize our dreams by embracing innovation and passion and overcoming the obstacles on the way, to contribute to the magnificent Sino-Mexican amity.
